The firm is led by Cathal Cusack and Kenneth Garvey, supported by a team of over fifteen professionals. The firm was originally formed in 1991. Its clients are mostly based in Ireland and the UK.

Cathal Cusack FCCACathal has over twenty five years experience in practice in both Ireland and the UK. His main areas of expertise include advising start-up and growing businesses, acquisitions, disposals, succession and retirement planning. Over the years he has worked with some of the countries leading Barristers and Solicitors and has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and expertise in this area. Having advised clients through recessions in both the UK and Ireland in the past, Cathal is ideally placed to help businesses and individuals through their current debt problems. He has a wealth of experience negotiating with banks, investors and creditors. He has lectured on a variety of accountancy topics and is a regular contributor to the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) publications. Cathal is a Fellow of the ACCA and an active member of the ACCA Practice Network Group. He is the ACCA representative on the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies in Ireland (CCAB-I) Technical Co-ordinating Committee. The CCAB-I represents the various accountancy bodies in Ireland and the technical committee determines issues that require policy statements and approve the technical advice provided by CCAB-I to accountants. |

Kenneth Garvey BA FCCA AITIKenneth has over fifteen years experience in practice and previously worked in industry. His specialist areas are personal and business tax planning, wealth management and forensic accounting. He also works extensively with healthcare and medical professionals and would be regarded as an expert in this field. He is the ACCA representative on the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies in Ireland (CCAB-I) Business Law Committee. This Committee liaises with other representative bodies and where appropriate makes representations to Government on the impact of new laws and regulations. Kenneth holds a degree in Law and Accounting from the University of Limerick and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He is also a Registered Tax Consultant (AITI) with the Irish Taxation Institute. He previously lectured in taxation and worked for a time in the legal profession. |
